Discover authentic Maine as you take a guided
tour of one of Maine's traditional maple sugar
farms; Giles Farm in Alfred, Maine. See how
native maple trees are tapped and the sap
collected. View the syrup making process first
hand in a genuine Shaker Barn. Enjoy a New
England lunch, complete with maple sugar treats!

2009 - 11th Annual May Day Festival
The festival will feature all the popular,
family-oriented activities enjoyed for years,
along with a few new offerings from last year –
a flea market, booths by local
artists/craftspeople and an expanded parade.
Important - this year's May Day Parade will
start earlier than usual – 9:00am – and will
include all the Kennebunks' Little League teams
in full uniform. To participate or get more

May 3, 2009 - The 2nd Annual Kennebunk Beach
Classic
5 mile road race and 3 mile run/walk to benefit
the Senior Center at Lower Village will take
place on Sunday, May 3rd. Both races are
certified and follow a counter-clockwise loop.
Begin at the Senior Center on Route 35 and
finish on Route 9. The combination of mostly
flat paved roads along the coast with a section
of a cart path running on the Webhannet Golf
Course makes for a captivating run. Chip timing;
guaranteed t-shirts for first 400 entries. The
pre-registration entry fee is $20 and $15 for
members of the Senior Center at Lower Village.
Race day registration is $25 for all.

anniversary of this highly respected exhibition
brings 100 artisans to historic Laudholm Farm to
show their craftworks in a lovely seaside
setting. Sculpture, jewelry, pottery, prints,
clothing, photography, and basketry are among
the crafts selected by jury for this prestigious

Oct 31 “Trick or Treat” in the Kennebunks
Merchants throughout Kennebunk and Kennebunkport
hand out goodies to the little ghosts, pirates,
princesses, etc.
